Discuss names and nicknames used in the novel. Group: All of these names have a negative connotation. Do you think these names affected the characters in the novel in a negative way? Make a list of 5-10 names you have been called. Include both negative and positive. Draw a version of yourself from head to toe. Rank the names according to how they affect you. A name near your head means it really affects you. A name near your feet means the name doesn't affect you at all.
